In this video we explore the techniques of ground driving, how to prepare your horse and the purposes and goals behind this approach. This can be a helpful tool in the starting process for any horse – but is particularly helpful for nervous horses that have trouble accepting a persons position above/behind their blind spot or changing eyes. Done correctly, this can help a horse learn to follow the rein with flexion throughout his body.
