In this video series we cover a number of topics discussed at our Lessons Clinic in Idaho. Personalized Lessons are customized to address any problems or goals the participant wants to work through, addressing exactly where they and their horse are at. A huge benefit of viewing these sessions is learning from a wide range of situations which you can then apply to your horsemanship journey at home as well.

The hindquarter yield is an important basic maneuver for communication and safety, particularly with young horses but often ends up getting overused. This is detrimental in a number of ways, including when a horse gets automated or even becomes evasive. This video addresses some approaches to change that and develop variety.

In this video we work on understanding how to bring the fundamentals of Forward and Suppleness together. Helping shape up the movement of our horses with suppleness takes intention and clarity in how we operate the indirect feel and the direct feel.

Discussion in this series focuses on what to look for in correct arced lateral balance and a few techniques to address weakness in a diagonal.
