WAIVER TERMS & CONDITIONS
Various words and phrases used in this agreement shall have the following meanings: – “the TRAINER” also includes Ben Longwell, True West Horsemanship LLC, True West Horsemanship Ltd, any employees, agents, landowners of arena or subcontractors who may run or assist in running this operation. “The CLIENT” refers to the owner of the horse and rider in the clinic and any person who may accompany the owner.
• True West Horsemanship LLC will provide all necessary care and attention for your horse during the clinic, however can accept no responsibility for any accident, sickness, or illness that may occur. Equine insurance, if desired, must be obtained by the Client.
• At any time, at his absolute discretion, the TRAINER may revoke approval for the CLIENT to continue instruction/lessons – especially if continuing would cause harm to another person or horse.
• The CLIENT agrees to release and discharge the TRAINER in respect of all liability to the CLIENT for loss or damage of any kind whether for personal injury, death or property damage which the CLIENT may suffer while riding or receiving instruction, howsoever caused.
The CLIENT hereby indemnifies the TRAINER from any loss, liability or damage or cost that may be incurred by the TRAINER
(a) as a result of any act or omission, whether caused by negligence of the CLIENT or otherwise
(b) in respect of any injury, loss or damage to any person accompanying the client to the instruction/lesson who may suffer while on the property. • If rider participant is under age of 18 a parent or legal gaurdian needs to countersign this form on their behalf
SAFETY STANDARDS
• Appropriately heeled shoes or boots must be worn by all persons intending to ride
• A safety standard approved helmet is recommended to be worn while riding, but is up to the individual owners choice. (please tick)

- NO I Will Not be wearing a helmet during this clinic/lesson and take full responsibility for my actions
RIDERS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND DECLARATION
I declare that:
• Physically I am able and reasonably fit and well balanced on a horse at all gaits
• I will accept and follow all reasonable directions of the TRAINER.
• I am aware that activities involving horses can be dangerous and unpredictable and that I can be injured or killed.
• I accept all risks of personal injury, death or property damage to myself or caused to others.
• I am aware I may be personally liable for injury or damage to other horses, people or property that is caused by myself or my horse.
• I have fully read and understand the Terms & Conditions on this form and I agree to all terms and conditions which are included in the Agreement between myself and the TRAINER.
This Agreement, Releases and Indemnities shall be binding upon the CLIENT, the CLIENTS legal representative, heirs and next of kin. This agreement is legal and binding.
