Format: Personalized Lessons are a 1-on-1 session in the Round Pen or Arena for you and your horse with Ben! It can be customized to address any problems or goals you want to work through, addressing exactly where you and your horse are at.
Suitable for: All Horses (no matter what Equine Discipline you are involved with) Problem Solving Cases, Goal Achieving, Green Horse, Communication Advancement, Foal/Young Horse Handling.
Where: Round Pen, True Aim Ranch, 1101 SE Nye Ave, Pendleton, OR
Cost: $80 per lesson + arena fee
Arena Fee: $10 per lesson
Spectators: Any friends/family you would like to bring to spectate are $10 per person (under 12yr olds free)
Private Lessons are fantastic for Problem Solving, Goal Achieving, Young Horses, Improving your communication and skills or simply having a “check up”. Ben will take each participant with their horse for 1-on-1 sessions in the roundpen or arena. This means they can address exactly where each horse/owner is at and work through any problems or goals the rider would like to work on. Each horse is so varied as to what level they are at and what problems or goals they need to work on, so spectators and participants will be able to view a wide variety of situations.
This Clinic is suitable for horses who may have problems, holes in their foundational training, green horses, foal or young horses or people with specific goals they would like help addressing.
Subjects may include (but are not limited to):
Gaining a feel for building confidence instead of instilling fear
Dealing with foundational training holes
Confidence Building (both owner & horse)
Discussing the feet/mind/leadership connection and other foundational Horsemanship principles
Learning how to be safer around your horse and develop a great partnership
Understanding why you need to be the leader and how to become the leader
Why trust and understanding are so important and how to develop them.
Understanding the relationship of pressure, release, and timing
Foundational Groundwork and how it prepares the horse to be ridden
Ridden Work – working towards refinement, basics that develop better communication, introducing higher level movements
